Product Description:
Marine Loading Arms (MLAs) are essential for transferring various fluids such as oil, chemicals, LPG, and LNG between ships and storage facilities. Here are some typical features and benefits of MLAs:

Emergency Release Coupler (ERC)
ERC is installed at the vertical part of triple swivel assembly of MLA, and to separate the MLA from tank ship in case of the following situations during loading jobs:
·Fire broke out on the site and the staff could not get close.
·Typhoon blew on the site and the staff could not get close.
·The tank ship drifted away from the normal working area due to tide range and other reasons, and there was no duty personnel on site.
MLA equipped with ERC could prevent it from major damage, protect the safety of jetty and personnel and also avoid the pollution to environment caused by the product leakage.


Quick Connect/Disconnect Coupler (QCDC)
QCDC is installed at the triple swivel assembly of MLA and provides the means of quickly and easily connect/disconnect the MLAto/from the tanker flange or manifold.
Without the use of bolts, nuts or gaskets, the claws can quickly connect the connection flanges together, effectively saving manpower and time, it can also quickly clamp the blind flange.
According to the flange diameter and pressure, the QCDC could be made up of one mating flange and 3 to 8 claws. The flange face is installed with a o-ring seal (suitable material for the product loaded).

Hydraulic Quick Connect/Disconnect Coupler (HQCDC)
Hydraulic QCDC is installed at the triple swivel assembly of MLA and provides the means of quickly andeasily connect/disconnect theMLA to/from the tanker flange or manifold.
The main advantages include:
·Quick automatic connection and disconnection with ship.
·Direct connection with different ship manifolds, no spool piece required.
All connection and disconnection actions are operated by remote controller, greatly reducing labor intensity, and manual disconnection can be realized in case of power failure.

Adjustable Support Jack
The support jack is bolted onto the triple swivel assembly. After the MLA is connected with the tank ship, to adjust the height of the jack and make it stand firmly on the deck, then lock it with the pins. In this case, the load of MLA could be transferred to the deck which will help to reduce the loads on the ship manifold.

Electro-hydraulic Control System
Electro-hydraulic Control System mainly includes Local Control Panel (LCP), Wired or Wireless Control Pendent, Hydraulic Power Pack (HPP), Solenoid Valve Blocks, Hydraulic pipelines and cables, etc. One set of electro-hydraulic control system can control multiple MLAs on the same jetty (normally less than 8 sets). And the MLAs could be operated from local control panle, wired pendent or wirelss radio controller.
PLC is applied in the system, so that the system could be easily maintenanced and upgraded and all the system information (including MLA status, alarm and error information, etc) could be displayed on the LCD screen on the LCP and also the monitoring computer in the central control room.
